A. Background

The 2009 Indonesian Arts and Culture Scholarship is the seventh year of the Program that was initially offered and awarded to member countries of the South West Pacific Dialogue (SwPD); Australia, New Zealand, Papua New Guinea, the Philippines, Timor-Leste, and the host Indonesia.

With the support of the North-Rhine-Westphalian Ministry for Innovation, Science, Research and Technology (MIWFT), the Institute for Geoinformatics offers

• Five scholarships for the MSc program in Geoinformatics (4 semesters, start October 1, 2009)

The key aim of the Graça Machel Scholarship Programme is to help provide the female human resources necessary for economic, social and cultural development in the southern African region and to develop an educated and skilled workforce that can benefit the wider community.

Go Global: Curtin Health Equity Scholarships are available to assist students in 2009, who can demonstrate financial hardship. The Scholarship will be a one off cash payment of $4,500 to assist with costs associated with participating in the Go Global: Curtin Health program to India, China, South Africa or Ukraine.
