The group of Matthias Kieslinger at the Helmholtz Center Munich (Institute of Clinical Molecular Biology and Tumor Genetics) has identified Ebf proteins in the support of haematopoietic stem cells (Kieslinger et al., 2010). We use novel techniques in mouse genetics to further examine the role of these proteins.
