The SCG Foundation is pleased to grant up to 6 full scholarships for individuals wishing to study at the Master of Arts Program in International Development Studies (MAIDS) at Chulalongkorn University for the upcoming 2010-2011 academic year.

Ajinomoto Scholarship enables students from five ASEAN countries (Thailand, Indonesia, Malaysia, the Philippines, and Vietnam) wishing to enroll in a master's course (major in one of the sciences) at the University of Tokyo, to secure scholarships before their arrival in Japan. It aims to cultivate individuals capable of leading Asia in the twenty-first century and to contribute to the development of Asia and the world as well as to mutual understanding between these countries and Japan.

To celebrate the official launch of the Sheffield Hallam University South East Asia regional office in Kuala Lumpur in March 2009, one full tuition-fee scholarship is available to an applicant from South East Asia for a 2009/10 postgraduate course. All full-time postgraduate taught courses are taking part in this scheme.

With the support of the North-Rhine-Westphalian Ministry for Innovation, Science, Research and Technology (MIWFT), the Institute for Geoinformatics offers

• Five scholarships for the MSc program in Geoinformatics (4 semesters, start October 1, 2009)

EMMA stands for Erasmus Mundus Mobility for Regional Asia and is part of the Erasmus Mundus External Cooperation Window.

Funded by a grant from the Government of Japan, the Japan Indonesia Presidential Scholarship Program (GIPS) supports PhD studies in an academic field of study covered by ten Indonesian Centers of Excellence (CoE) participating in the program.

Application for the Singapore Scholarship must be submitted on the prescribed application form (The application form and supporting documents must be of A4 size and printed on one side only). The Wesleyan Freeman Asian Scholarship Program provides expenses for a four-year course of study toward a bachelor's degree for up to twenty-two exceptionally able Asian students annually from these countries and regions: the People's Republic of China, Hong Kong, Indonesia, Japan, Malaysia, the Philippines, Singapore, South Korea, Taiwan, Thailand, and Vietnam.

The KAAD, by its German name in full known as Katholischer Akademischer Auslander-Dienst (the Catholic Academic Support Service for Foreign Students, Germany) has, since long, provided scholarships for young professionals in need of such support from countries around the world.
