To apply for these Scholarships, an Applicant must complete the Application Form, and attach a photo, an academic transcript, and proof of citizenship.

Kidney Health Australia provides scholarships for individuals wishing to study full time for the research degrees of PhD, MD, or Masters by research, by undertaking research into the causes, prevention and treatment of disorders of the kidney.

The funding is awarded annually for the duration of the Award (2 years or 3 years depending on study) but funding in 2nd and 3rd year is contingent on Kidney Health Australia receiving evidence that an applicant has also applied to other granting bodies (e.g. NHMRC) for support of those years

Eligibility:

Applicants should have a particular interest in basic or clinical research on ageing. Current research strengths of the unit are basic and clinical ageing pharmacology and falls research. Applicants must be Australian citizens, Australian permanent residents or New Zealand citizens.
