Postgraduate Scholarship Program 2009: Australia's Commonwealth Scientific and Industrial Research Organisation () is offering Postgraduate Scholarships to provide prospective students with the opportunity to undertake postgraduate research aligned with National Research Priorities in partnership with CSIRO.

\The Government of Western Australia, through the Department of Education and Training (DET), is offering a number of prestigious scholarships for international students to undertake the Western Australian Universities' Foundation Program (WAUFP) or Tertiary Entrance Examination (TEE) program at either Canning College or Tuart College in Perth, Western Australia (WA).

The idea for the Peace Scholarship Program originated at the Australian International Education Conference in 2001 in Sydney in response to the terrorist attacks on New York and Washington.

University of Technology Sydney Engineering offers scholarships to international students for its masters by coursework programs. Each scholarship will be awarded based solely on academic results achieved by the applicant in their undergraduate degree.

The next intake will be for Autumn Semester 2009. Applications close 8 December 2008.

Please note: Applications for the 2009 scholarships will open on Monday 15 September 2008. The closing date for applications is Friday 31st October 2008.

Youngcare PhD Scholarships In a partnership with the University of Queensland, Youngcare have provided funding for two PhD Scholarships in two areas:

• Social Innovation, to be undertaken in the UQ Business School; and
• Pathways and Choices for Young People with High Care Needs, to be undertaken in the Faculty of Health Sciences.

The Role:

Morrison Lawyers Law Scholarship University of Southern Queensland will in 2009 offer one Morrison Lawyers Law Scholarship to an undergraduate student in their 2nd or 3rd year of a Law or combined degree of Business and Law, full-time on campus at USQ Springfield.Morrison Lawyers is an Ipswich firm which has been operating for a number of years in the greater Ipswich region.

The University of Western Australia will offer up to 50 fee waiver scholarships to Indian higher degree by research students for commencement in 2009.

Outstanding physics graduates are encouraged to apply for the J. L. William Scholarship to undertake honours studies within the School of Physics at Monash University.
