International Scholarships

Purpose
The goal is to financially assist students currently enrolled in a teacher education program with a mathematics specialty. The award is to be used for tuition, books, labs, and fees necessary to fulfill requirements for a BA or BS degree with teacher certification in mathematics.

Eligibility

25% off the registered tuition fees for the entire course, including an honours year, Available to all undergraduate degrees except Medicine, and to Foundation Studies and postgraduate coursework programs, Applicants can apply for start of year or mid year intakes, Awarded on academic achievements in secondary, diploma or degree level courses.

Available Scholarships:

The Wesleyan Freeman Asian Scholarship Program provides expenses for a four-year course of study toward a bachelor's degree for up to twenty-two exceptionally able Asian students annually from these countries and regions: the People's Republic of China, Hong Kong, Indonesia, Japan, Malaysia, the Philippines, Singapore, South Korea, Taiwan, Thailand, and Vietnam.

No matter what profession you choose to go into, college can be a big financial burden. While there are many general scholarships out there for students who apply, those in the teaching field can have a chance at scholarships as well. From 2009 all international students who enrol in an on-campus, single degree at Lilydale will receive a Study Lilydale Scholarship.

The International Medical University (IMU) has recognized that there are many Malaysian students who aspire to be a health sciences professional. For various reasons, some of these students are not able to achieve their life-long ambition, including those students whose families do not have the financial resources to support them for entry into an international institution like the IMU.

The Laurie Daniels Scholarship was established through the ACU National Foundation and commemorates the life of Laurie Daniels, a founding member of the University Senate, an active supporter of ACU National, and a life-long advocate of Catholic education. Since 2006 this scholarship has supported students in the new School of Nursing (NSW & ACT) at Canberra Campus.

This scholarship is open to students entering the Bachelor of Commerce Honours Program and specialising in Accounting and Information Systems. Selection is on the basis of academic merit; the applicant’s demonstrated interest in the discipline of accounting and information systems; and interpersonal skills. The scholarship may not be awarded to an applicant who is in receipt of another sponsored award.

De Montfort University is committed to supporting international students to benefit from study in the United Kingdom. For courses starting in September 2008, De Montfort University’s Vice-Chancellor is pleased to offer scholarships to 2,000 pounds each.
