Nelson Mandela Metropolitan University, South Africa offers Vice-Chancellor‘s Scholar for South African students only that want to take study at Nelson Mandela Metropolitan University, South Africa. High-achieving school leavers and those who have taken a break from study for up to two years after Grade 12, who are entering university for the first time on the basis of the Grade 12 results, are welcome to apply. The Scholarship – value at R82 782 per annum – is renewable for each year of a first full-time NMMU undergraduate degree or diploma programme, provided academic performance remains of the highest standard.

How to Apply: 

Applications should be submitted via post or electronically. First you have to make sure that you meet the admission requirements of the programme of your choice. Obtain a copy of the undergraduate programme guide as well as an application form from the admissions office or download it. Once completed, you must submit your application together with the relevant documentation and application fee to the admissions office by hand or by post. The fee changes annually so please consult the admissions office to determine the correct amount. Applicants whose parents studied at NMMU do not pay the application fee, provided that they apply before the initial closing date at the beginning of August of each year.
