[Germany] Scholarship For Ghanaian Post-Graduates 2009
The German Embassy is pleased to announce that this summer the SLE plus: Berlin Training for International Development Cooperation at Humboldt-Universitaet zu Berlin is offering three short term courses:
- Decentralised Management of Regional Development (3.08.-14.08.2009)
- Project Cycle Management (17.8.-28.8.2009)
- Conflict Prevention and Conflict Management (31.8.-11.9.2009)
A framework programme provides participants with the opportunity to become familiar with scholarly discussions in the area of development cooperation, and to meet with representatives of German governmental and non-governmental organisations active in the field of development cooperation.
Costs for each 10-day-course are € 500.00. (Partial) Scholarships will be available for qualified foreign alumni of German institutions of higher education and for alumni of universities who received a German sur-place-scholarship.
The deadline for scholarship applications: May 3rd .2009.
The programme funded by DAAD with funds from the Ministry of Economic Cooperation, the German Office of Foreign Affairs and the Senat of Berlin.

I am young, 22 years old. I am graduated from Haramaya University (Ethiopia) with department of Livestock production and Rangeland Management with great distinction (CGPA=4:00) in 2008.
I had worked at Semera University as assistant Lecturer for 4 months and currently I am working in Oromia Agricultural Research Institute (OARI) as researcher. I have very great interest to continue my M.sc.on the area which is related to my profession especially on Forage production, Dairy science, Range ecology and Management. So I am requesting to give me the chance to attend the M.sc. program on the above area or other related fields.
